Women's Wellbeing
Yoga Workshops

These workshops are designed to be a space for women to come together and practice gentle and subtle yoga, build connections and enjoy community.

Dates and themes:

12th May (Anxiety, Overwhelm and Brain Fog)

19th May (Hot Flushes and Irritability)

Time - 1.30pm-4.00pm

Venue - Sharnbrook Sports Centre, Odell Road, Sharnbrook, MK44 1JL.

What to expect?

These workshops have been created specially to help women at all stages of life, to give a space for internal focus and a pause from the pressures and responsibilities of our daily lives.

These are nourishing practices enabling self-love and self-compassion. 

These practices may also help women manage some of their menopause and perimenopause symptoms such as stress, anxiety, fatigue, overwhelm, brain fog and irritability.

No yoga experience is needed so all levels are welcome.

- Women's Circle - discussion and sharing of experiences. 
- Yoga Practice (90 minutes)
- Break with hot beverages and healthy home-made nibbles.

Meet Your Teacher

Sarah W Yoga

Sarah Westbrook

Sarah Westbrook is a Yoga Teacher from Sharnbrook, Bedfordshire, UK, leading yoga classes, retreats, and workshops in Sharnbrook and the surrounding Bedfordshire villages.

 

Sarah qualified in 2021 as a Yoga Teacher with Whitespace Yoga Studio in Milton Keynes, is a member of Yoga Alliance Professionals and continues to develop as a yoga teacher through continuous professional development.

 

Sarah has completed her Level 1 and Level 2 Yin Yoga Training with Gillian Cawte and Austin Ince, Teen Yoga training with Charlotta Martinus and will be doing Thai Yoga Massage training in 2024 with Dawn Wright.

Sarah teaches Vinyasa Yoga, Teen Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Chair Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga and Menopause Yoga with a focus on inclusivity and embodiment through clear alignment and intuitive sequencing.

Aged 52, she is experiencing the challenges and opportunities presented by this time of life and is proud to have has studied and qualified with Petra Coveney, founder of Menopause Yoga.

 

In a hyper busy and often stressed world, she understands the importance of deep rest and inner inquiry to facilitate reconnection, individual meaning and purpose. 

​

She loves to hold space for learning, healing, and personal development, and is passionate about teaching individuals and groups in workshops and retreats. Sarah works with compassion and kindness to create communities where women can support and empower each other.
